Overview

Alec Stewart's Easter plans are overturned by news that his estranged aunt has taken her own life in Stoke-on-Trent. As the only relative who can be contacted, he goes to deal with her affairs, much to the annoyance of Brian Stead, who needs him at important tests with Mogul's partner Jimmy Satchell. In Stoke, grasping relatives arrive to claim their share while Stewart tries to understand how his aunt came to be so alone.
