Overview

When Harry Telfall is killed in a car crash, Alec Stewart and Brian Stead see a chance to buy his engineering firm and its research into battery-powered cars, which could threaten much of Mogul's market. Peter Thornton is sent to the factory in the Midlands under a cover story to assess its work. He finds chief engineer George Ward at odds with Maggie, the young widow who now owns the firm.
