Overview

The naturalist heads north to Iceland. On an expedition in search of the Harlequin - a duck that loves to surf the rapids - there is also the chance to see the birds that give us eiderdown, and to track the elusive predator of the north, the Arctic fox. He also sets foot on land that did not exist when he was born - the volcanic island of Surtsey.
