Overview

The action of the new film unfolds against the backdrop of the collapse of the USSR. Border guard officer Anton Pekarsky, having gone through the war in Afghanistan and served ten years on the border in Central Asia, becomes unnecessary to the state that is falling apart and returns to his native Belarus. However, the knowledge and loyalty to duty of the experienced border guard turn out to be in demand in his homeland, where new national border protection services are being established.
