Overview

Süleyman shocks the empire by naming a new heir, while Hürrem—still burning for revenge—joins forces with Rüstem as he rises to grand vizier. The princes gather for Cihangir’s ceremony, reigniting fierce rivalries, especially between Selim and Bayezid, while Mustafa’s triumphant welcome by the Janissaries alarms the palace. A striking Venetian concubine disrupts the harem, and as Mehmet’s death leaves the governorship vacant, Hürrem maneuvers to secure it for one of her sons. In the end, Süleyman overturns every expectation with a decision that reshapes the dynasty’s future.
