Geo is a boxer, Den is a fashionista, Nikita is a nerd; the lads are classmates and best mates. Den tries and fails to sell some counterfeit trainers to some lads from the neighbourhood and ends up owing them money. To pay off the debt, the lads ask the school’s top con artist, Lyokha, for help.

Their first earnings from illegal cash-out schemes go to their heads, and the lads get sucked into the world of card skimming. They trick people into giving them new cards so they can make more money. The scheme seems perfect – until Nikita’s grandmother gets a call from the police.

Nikita’s grandmother has been swindled by fraudsters, who stole all her savings from her card. Geo’s father is having business problems and can’t afford to pay for some important training camps. Dan’s account on the classifieds website has been blocked, and he doesn’t have the money for festival tickets with his girlfriend. Lyokha suggests the lads take a big gamble.

A police officer – Yegor Borisovich – visits the school. He talks about the consequences of getting involved in drop-off scams. The fear of punishment blurs the boys’ sense of reality. But the desire to make money gets the better of them. After lessons, the lads head off to cash out a thick wad of bank cards. But Borisych runs into a terrified Dan by the cash machine.

Borisych searches the lads but finds nothing. During the chase, Geo managed to hide the cards in a pile of rubbish. After snatching them back from a local tramp, the lads decide to return the cards and quit the game. But Lyokha isn’t keen on the idea.
