Overview

Ten months after Alpha's death, Kaya is still pregnant and refuses to accept the inheritance of the sacred herd. The elders claim that she alone can restore the balance of the village. With her health and that of her baby at risk, Kaya must choose between following her traditional destiny or pursuing the dreams she has built for herself.
