Birdwatcher Samuel West introduces birding novice Adrian Edmondson to our most beautiful birds. Starting in Cornwall, they search for the chough and hope for exotic, wind-blown foreign visitors. Then they go on a 'wild goose chase' in North Norfolk.

On the North Norfolk coast, Sam West and Adrian Edmondson set off on a 'wild goose chase' that leads them through pine forests, across sweeping beaches and onto the marshes.

Samuel West takes his friend and birdwatching newbie, Adrian Edmondson, to the flooded Somerset Levels. They're in search of a bittern, Britain's loudest and possibly most mysterious bird.
