Jack-O (1995)

Overview

It's Cinemassacre's Monster Madness XX: Trick or Treat! This year I'm covering movies that take place on Halloween, and I'm closing things out with a real B-movie oddity. Jack-O (1995) is a low-budget slasher from director Steve Latshaw about a pumpkin-headed demon unleashed on Halloween night in the town of Oakmoor Crossing. When teenagers knock over an old grave, the creature rises to finish a centuries-old curse against the Kelly family. It even splices in old footage of horror legend John Carradine, who had died years before the movie came out. This is the last episode of the year, see you NEXT season for Monster Madness 21!!
