Overview

Having shielded Chokkaku before the court, Terumasa mends his ways and begins, step by step, to walk the path of a worthy castle steward. But he is still a child, and what occupies his mind above all is the delicious manjū all Hagi is talking about. Chance after chance has slipped by, and somehow he has never managed to taste one. At last Terumasa makes up his mind, slips out of the castle in ninja garb, and heads for the manjū shop…
