The New Colleague

Overview

Li Yongbiao introduces Xiang Yuan to Xu Yanshi, while Li Qing blatantly states that Xiang is here to replace Xu's position. Xiang Yuan immediately understands Xu's difficult situation and instinctively feels the need to protect him. Li Qing brings up the issue of frequent complaints regarding inaccuracies, but Xu Yanshi deflects the problem by citing the lack of funding for field surveys.
