Brian Stead wants to expand into South America through the companies controlled by the immensely rich Ferdinand Perez, who refuses to discuss business during the three months of each year he devotes to pleasure. With a hostile board setting a deadline, Stead sends Willy Izard and Peter Thornton after him on a chase that takes in polo, golf, a health farm, Cannes and the casinos of Europe.
