Zac Franich

Biography

Zac Franich is a New Zealand television personality, sports administrator, public speaker, and former international athlete. He originally rose to nationwide prominence in 2017 as the leading man on season 3 of The Bachelor New Zealand and later competed on Dancing with the Stars NZ. Before his reality TV career, he was a carded international sprint kayaker representing New Zealand at the World Championships alongside Olympic athletes. A passionate surf-lifesaver, he serves as the General Manager for Surf Life Saving New Zealand (Northern Region/Sport). He is married to television presenter Erin Simpson, and he actively travels as a public speaker advocating for mental health awareness.
