Biography

Dave "Wardie" Ward is a New Zealand broadcaster, rugby commentator, and audio technology founder. After spending decades in the media industry working as a radio producer for The Hits and a live sports commentator for Radio Sport, he relocated to Nelson, where he works as a port terminal supervisor. He is also the founder of PronouncePro, an innovative Kiwi broadcasting app designed to help media and sports announcers accurately and respectfully pronounce Māori and Pasifika names.
