Finn Bell

Biography

Born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, on October 31, 2005. Finn Bell grew up exploring visual storytelling by teaching himself how to draw and paint. He found his love of filmmaking through animation and making shorts with his brothers and friends. He is currently studying cinematography at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts. Upon meeting Ethan Droze during their college admissions interview, the two soon co-founded Purpled Orange, a production company focused on unconventional & creative filmmaking. Finn Bell is known for Tchotchke (2026), which was selected to be part of Dead Meat’s horror anthology film Fresh Meat (2026).
