The Marked Trail

Overview

Learning of heiress Marie Canby’s arrival, the bandit Pinto and his gang kidnap her for ransom. After Marie feigns illness to escape, Pinto forces a doctor to treat her under blindfold. Realizing her ruse, the doctor promises rescue. Jealous of Pinto’s flirting, his wife helps the doctor plan an escape, advising him to mark the trail. The doctor drops pills along the path when released, leads the sheriff’s posse back, and successfully captures the bandits and rescues Marie.
