ARK

Overview

The new ‘Green Ark’ at Meise Botanic Garden is designed to protect endangered plant species in the face of a global biodiversity crisis. Following the construction of this carefully controlled environment, ARK draws parallels between the processes of construction and conservation, and urges architecture to assume an active role in protecting biodiversity.
