Overview

On Labor Day Weekend, 2025, six pioneers of the Alté (Nigerian Alternative Music) scene performed together in America for the first time. Through concert footage and interviews, the artists trace their origins as industry outsiders to becoming stars in their own right. The film also follows the showrunners, Kehinde Williams and Emah Eguche, as they face the seemingly impossible challenge of independently financing and organizing their first festival.
