Yumi

Overview

*Yumi* means "water" in the Awajún language. It tells the story of this indigenous people from the Peruvian Amazon rainforest and their struggle to protect the headwaters of their rivers, which are threatened by gold mining. In this area, the Peruvian government had promised to create the Ichigkat Muja - Cordillera del Cóndor National Park.
